UNIQUE PET PORTRAITS

I have been painting people and pet portraits for over 30 years. I studied portraiture with Dr. Ed Carlos at the University of the South. In 1994, I spent a year studying art history in St. Petersburg, Russia, and in Florence, Italy.

Growing up on a farm in Tennessee, I always knew I would have wings versus roots. My greatest passion has been traveling and experiencing the world. My career has also involved teaching English for four years in Germany and over a decade working for Google, Inc. During those years, I traveled extensively to Russia, India, Southeast Asia, Turkey, North Africa, Europe, Central and South America. I draw my inspiration from the places, and people, I have visited around the world.

My other great love is animals. After 20 years of practicing my art in Atlanta, I recently took the leap and bought a small alpaca farm in rural New Jersey. My three dogs have never been happier.
